Erectile Performance
This erectile performance research range brings together two compounds that act through very different pathways: PT-141 (bremelanotide), a melanocortin receptor agonist, and liquid tadalafil, a PDE5 inhibitor.
Central versus vascular mechanisms
PT-141 acts on MC3 and MC4 receptors in the brain, so researchers use it to study motivation and arousal pathways. By contrast, tadalafil blocks the PDE5 enzyme in blood vessels, which raises cGMP and relaxes smooth muscle. Because of this, comparing the two helps labs separate central effects from vascular ones. In addition, PT-141 is related to Melanotan II, which is listed in our melanocortin peptides.
Choosing erectile performance research compounds
Choose PT-141 for receptor and behavioural research, and choose tadalafil for endothelial, vascular or smooth muscle models. Some protocols use both to compare onset and duration.
Ordering from Vi Corpus
Every order ships from Australian stock. In addition, weekday orders placed before 12pm AEDT leave the same day, so most metro labs receive them within days. Batches are third-party tested, and reports are available through our Lab Tests page.
Erectile performance research FAQ
Is PT-141 a PDE5 inhibitor?
No. It is a melanocortin agonist with a central mechanism.
Are these products for personal use?
No. Tadalafil is a prescription medicine and PT-141 is not TGA-approved, so both are sold for research only.
Not sure which compound fits your protocol? Our team can help by chat or email. In addition, every product page lists full specifications, storage notes and links to related research compounds.
All products are sold for laboratory research use only and are not for human consumption.
