CJC-1295 DAC is a long-acting analogue of growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH) with a Drug Affinity Complex that binds circulating albumin. Vi Corpus supplies CJC-1295 with DAC as a 5 mg lyophilised vial for Australian labs that study the growth hormone axis.
Key research features of CJC-1295 DAC
- Extended half-life. The DAC linker attaches the peptide to albumin, and human studies reported a half-life of roughly six to eight days.
- GHRH receptor agonist. It prompts the pituitary to release its own growth hormone instead of adding hormone directly.
- Modified GRF (1-29). Four amino acid substitutions protect it from enzyme breakdown.
- Pairs with ghrelin mimetics. Researchers often study it alongside Ipamorelin to compare GHRH and GHSR pathways.
- Third-party tested. Results are available through our Lab Tests page.

CJC-1295 vs somatropin
Somatropin is recombinant human growth hormone, a 191-amino-acid protein that acts directly on GH receptors. By contrast, CJC-1295 is a 30-amino-acid peptide that signals the pituitary to release growth hormone in its natural pulses. That difference is why researchers use GHRH analogues to study feedback loops, IGF-1 output and pituitary function. Vi Corpus does not sell somatropin.
Research applications
Published studies measured sustained rises in GH and IGF-1 after single administrations in healthy adults. In addition, animal work has explored growth and body composition in GHRH-deficient models. For comparison work, see our growth hormone peptides, including Ipamorelin and Tesamorelin.
Frequently asked questions
What does DAC mean?
DAC stands for Drug Affinity Complex. It is a chemical linker that lets the peptide bind albumin and stay active for longer.
Is there a CJC-1295 without DAC?
Yes, that version is often called Mod GRF (1-29). It has a much shorter half-life. We currently stock the DAC form.
How should it be stored?
Refrigerate unopened vials and protect them from light. Then use sterile technique when reconstituting with bacteriostatic water.
